This hike will include some of the highest peaks of the Sharr Mountains range and the 3 National Parks in Macedonia, before it continues to mythical Mount Olympus in Greece. You won’t walk the entire range, but we’ve selected the best parts and also included mountain villages, orthodox monasteries and historic towns to visit. You will be in the hands of our competent guides, walking somewhere between 5-8 hours a day. The accommodation will be a combination of guest-houses, hotels and mountain huts, where at some places you will have the opportunity to join local people at the table, or cook with them if you feel like it. The food will be authentically Macedonian and Greek, and excellent!
